World Traveler pt1
On June 8, 2016 I and 9 others from grace church of orange made the exhausting 24 hour plane trip to Pretoria, South Africa. This was the third opportunity I had to minister to the Clark, Mack, and De Witt families. They tirelessly work to reach the people in their community with the gospel.
Josh and Marda Mack planted Living Hope Church and started Muphamuzi baby home. The baby home is a place for abandoned babies to find a forever family, weather that be going back to their birth family or being adopted.
About four years ago, after Randy went on a missions trip to South Africa, the Clark family decided to move there. They homeschool their 5 children as well as encourage the men and women of the Church. While our team was there, we were able to love on the babies at the baby home, paint and clean rooms that the new hours parents will live in, shared the gospel with people in the community, and helped with landscaping outside the new Bible House! The last ten days have been exhausting, but it was all worthy it!
As we get ready to land in LAX I can't help but ask myself, how does this trip impact my life? I want the excitement and joy of doing things for eternal purposes to continue long after I get home. I want to be more bold on sharing my faith! That's something you can pray for me about! If I know someone is condemned to hell, I shouldn't be sitting around. W E need to do something about it!
One more prayer request, I have the opportunity to possible go back and stay with the Clark's for several months. I would be there to encourage them in anyway I can. I am so beyond thrilled at this opportunity! Pray that if this is God's plan, that he work out all the details.
