My Grand Adventure

 A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to participate in Biola Youth Theater's production of Singin' in the Rain. This past summer I decided I wanted to join BYT. This was a BIG step for me. Being an introvert, I don't typically seek out situations where I am surrounded by large amounts of outgoing people. In August  I did some workshops to get ready for additions. Again being shy and not liking the attention solely on me, this terrified me! I was reminded of John 14:27, which says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." Reluctantly I went and met some incredible people. This experience encouraged me  to keep with my plans to audition for the show.   As auditions continue to approach, the same fear crept over me. Hi! For anyone who doesn't know me, I'm Sarah Marie Bush and I live in Anaheim, California. I'm a junior in high school and I have been home schooled all my life! I am a strong believer in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! Some of my interests include theater, photography, backpacking and being involved in church activities! One of the reasons I'm starting this blog is to encourage people in their faith!
